A brand identity & packaging design suite for a theoretical Japanese coffee shop. Based in Tokyo’s bustling Shibuya neighborhood, a center for youth culture and fashion, TABU seeks to weave the influences of traditional Japanese tattoos into a modern, crafted cafe experience by utilizing symbols of flora & fauna, as well as Japan’s oldest (and most stigmatized) art form.
